Cycling out of tehran

I do 180 km the first day

At last i have left Tehran the capital of Iran.
The first part of my journey was to cycle to Karaj aand from there to Qazvin which was no problem as the weather was clearish and later on Sunny.
I cycled through Qazvin only to discover i was left with a puncture and no problem had it repaired in a jiffy.
It was as if i was Mick Jagger in the city and everyone was saying hello mr since i am half british as well.
I set camp in the dry feilds and it started to rain but stopped shortly after.
The next morning i had breakfast as a guest of the locals in their house and everything was done locally like they even made their cheese and butter.Yum.
I left there for Zanjan and will continue writing that part of my adventure later on

Starting point

The trip

sunny 20 °C

Hello everybody.
My name is Karim and i am planing to take a long bicycle trip for as long as it takes.
Until now i have only read about other peoples cycling trips and had a few cyclists around me that talked me into the sport.
Now i thought yesterday is the time for me do do something interesting with my life as i am 34 and i need to move on fast in order to reach somewhere.
I am half Iranian half british and i bought myself a bicycle yesterday which i am supposed to collect tomorrow from a shop downtown Tehran in Satarkhan avenue.(bike has to be fitted with parts).
Now all i have to do is finish my shoping list and set a day to travel along with a direction and so forth.
